The highly esteemed award was received by the management of the college, Dr. Petrusevski Ljubisa and Mr. Cvetkovic Ranko, at the ceremony at the Oxford Town Hall.

During the plenary session called “Higher Education in the context of Greater Europe”, Dr. Petrusevski gave a presentation under the symbolic topic “Euro College and the Challenges of Global Education”. Dr. Petrusevski Ljubisa giving a presentation during the plenary session.

Some quotes on Dr Petrsusevski Ljubisa speech during the plenary session:

"Since its inception, Euro College was at the cutting edge of modern global education. We were never just local Macedonian school that strives to copy the good or bad practices of state universities. We endeavored to collaborate with the world and to try to incorporate the best and the most suitable educational offers into our operations and pathways we give to our students. We were always a bit ahead of the way changes in the higher education in Macedonia were implemented."

"Not to mention the concept of distant learning. Euro College is the founder of the International Distance Learning Accreditation League, a legal body established and recognized in Philippines. At the same time or Law do mention distance learning as an option but nobody has ever put it into practice domestically. Again, Euro College will have to break the ice. In short, our work complements and enriches the existing educational practices in the country while sometimes producing innovations that are still to be embraced by the rest of the academic community in Macedonia."
